Youth Development Grants

(for Community-Based Organizations)

Mayor Andre Dickens launched The Youth Development Grants program in 2022 to expand investments in Atlanta’s youth by supporting the work of community-based organizations. The program is in partnership with the Urban League of Greater Atlanta.  In addition to funding, participating organizations receive technical assistance and capacity-building support so they may continue uplifting youth. The original grant was supported by the American Rescue Plan Act and has continued with City Council approved local funding.
The Bottoms Administration has worked hard to ensure that our officers are trained, equipped, and paid commensurate with the challenges they face and their unwavering dedication. The City of Atlanta is doing its part to ensure equity is immersed in all of our decisions. We are forging a new day in Atlanta, where our police officers can live and thrive in the communities they serve; and where we can collectively evaluate the way our justice system works.
